AcuStep Data Collection System
The AcuStep Data Collection System contains all the hardware and software necessary to measure in-shoe foot pressures and immediately transmit data via
internet for custom orthotic design and fabrication.
Collecting data for fabrication of the AcuStep DPRO orthotic is fast and accurate – usually 20 minutes for both
feet. This includes entering demographic imformation, foot and shoe size, in-shoe pressure measurement,
completion of Purchase Order (PO) and sending to AcuStep. The system is efficient. Two Data Collection personel
have teamed up to measure over 20 college basketball players in 2 hours. The system is portable allowing the
collection process to be done almost anywhere – basketball court, football field, remote clinic, etc. The
client/patient is free to move about un-restrained wearing his/her own footwear doing his/her usual activities.
